he is actually good for what he is. i was very hesitant about going due to his reviews but honestly he has helped me with the two sessions i’ve gone compared to others ive gone to. he’s worth it.

Had several different negatives experiences when I was younger, one he compared me to my brother and said “that’s what’s wrong with women they make simple mistakes” and another, my mom took me and told him I hadn’t been wanting to go, he grabbed my ear and said “you better want to come next time”. Now older I am looking for some type of concealing and I am very nervous about it and i shouldn’t be. I do not recommend here especially as your profession you need to know these instances affecting negatively.

This counselor was very unprofessional towards my in-laws. I'm so disappointed in the service they received and how they were treated by this counselor. They took their teenager to get therapy thinking this person was going to help him. Instead the situation got worse, stressful and harder to deal with.

very bad experience on our sons initial visit, he told me and my wife that we were primitive on how we raised our son and asked us where we were from, we told him we were raised in our young lives in Mexico and he said no wonder you have primitive thinking on how you raise children, told me that just be looking at me he could tell that i had ADHD and probably anxiety issues, my hands and mouth were shaking because of what all the things he was saying to us, he also told us that he would give us a DVD to help us learn how to raise a teenager, he drew on his board with marker that our family was difunctional because we were our sons parental grandparents, we were visiting him to help our sons anger issues and he made us feel that we were the problem.

Mr. Escamilla is an incredible counselor. He empathizes with his client and establishes a safe place and the necessary rapport to effectively and genuinely help. I would not hesitate to seek him again. Lovely gentleman.
