Dr Rini has been a life changer for me as a veteran of the Marine Corps. After struggling for 10 years from issues with deployments and home life I had received no help through the VA. Dr. Rini is one of the best therapists I have ever seen. I find him to be insightful, respectful, witty, super smart, encouraging, and definitely a lifesaver. He has helped me see things clearly in every aspect of my life ...and I always leave the session feeling more at peace and content than when I arrived.

Three years ago my then 14-year-old wanted nothing to do w/ me. He called DCF on me and our relationship was extremely broken. I found Dr. Rini on a list, and made an appt in a last ditch to not lose my son.
I felt helpless, but once we began seeing Dr. Rini things began to improve after just two sessions. My son loves Dr. Rini and by the third session felt very comfortable talking to him and looked forward to our sessions! Seriously.
We still go for a refresher session if needed.

After many months of 2-3 times a week, our relationship was solid & back on track. My now 17-year-old and I are close and he tells me he loves me EVERY time we talk. We have a strong connection thanks to Dr. Rini’s help.
He was able to help me through romantic issues as well.
I recommended him to my aunt and cousins and they really like him too!

After trying a few different Doctors, I located Dr James Rini and read the reviews about him. I must say, that if I had listened to them, I would of never given him a try. I can say that in a very short period, I found he was more productive in helping me work thru my issues than previous Doctors. I have not experienced the “problems” that others have expressed. And I am not saying that they didn’t feel that way. But I am saying that in my experience with him, he was professional, kind and helpful with myself. I never experience him be rude or condescending in anyway. I would refer him to anyone and will continue to use his services in the future.

Horrible experience. Did not help our child one bit, in fact things became worse and he tells the troubled minor she doesn’t have to return. He also withheld all visit notes from family so we have no idea what emotional concerns need addressing. Waste of our time and money and now we need to seek legal help to intervene to obtain basic information regarding the visits. More time and money will be spent to find out what was accomplished or uncovered in the 20 hours he spent with our 13 year old. Don’t waste your time or money with this guy.
