What a lovely place. We actually live in Texas and were on vacation in Sarasota. We drove an hour to get there. The place is decorated so cute! The service was fantastic! Lisa was our waitress. Everything was fresh and tasted homemade. It's definitely one of the best afternoon teas I have been to!

I recently visited Wisteria Tea Room & Cafe, and I have mixed feelings about my experience.

A word of caution about their name: Tea Room & 'Cafe' - don't let the 'cafe' part fool you! If you're not a tea enthusiast, you might be disappointed to find no coffee or even soft drinks here.

The space is undeniably Instagram-worthy, with beautiful decor and attention to detail. The unlimited tea service comes with a visually stunning three-tiered set, though the selection of treats, while pretty, leaves something to be desired in the taste department.

Important safety note: Their signature Chantilly cream (served with scones) contains almond extract - we only discovered this after tasting. Fortunately, we're not allergic, just not fans, but this isn't mentioned anywhere on the menu. While the friendly staff offered to remake items for us, this should really be clearly disclosed.
Speaking of staff - they're the bright spot here. Incredibly accommodating, smiling, and ready to help with any request.

For the premium pricing, though, the overall experience falls short. While tea aficionados might enjoy the extensive selection, others might want to look elsewhere.

We had a wonderful experience at the Wisteria Tea Room today. We had our very large family celebrate a marriage. The restaurant is beautiful, inviting, and welcoming. We loved all the servers including Heather, Tasha, and Chelsea, and Joy made sure our food was served hot and timely. I would highly recommend this venue to celebrate a special occasion or just to have a delicious lunch. It is one of a kind in Southwest Florida. I dare you to try the deserts with their summer blueberry tea. You will not be disappointed!

Wisteria really knows afternoon tea! I took my mother for her birthday and I was so happy with the experience we had. Every item on the tier was delicious. You can tell that everything is homemade! We had so many options for tea and we ended up getting 3 pots. Our favorite was the Cran-brulee. I will definitely be back! This was such an awesome experience.

This is a unique experience for the area, and it must be getting more and more well known because it was quite busy on a Wednesday afternoon. It is highly recommended to get reservations ahead of time.
Several tables of ladies were dressed up with hats the day we were there. The 'afternoon tea' is treated like an event, with history provided on how this ritual started centuries ago.
The staff are lovely.

Everything was 5 stars!!! Amber was a perfect server to an exceptional meal with my mother in law and sister in law. The ambiance was serene and the food was delightful. Will be back!!

Quaint little English Tea Room located in Downtown Fort Myers, tucked into a side street. We were greeted at the door and shown to our table. Amber our server was friendly offered up suggestions and explained the menu. Over 35 different types of tea, a list of a number of tiered servings, sandwiches and salads. My Mom who I brought here selected the Duchess tray. Food and tea were delicious. Amber was attentive and very helpful. Nice place for the ladies.

I wish I could give this little gem more stars, they deserve it. Two in our party of four are gluten free, one of which is me. I have never had better food. Two other people in our party said that two of our items were even better than their gluten option, when does that happen?! NEVER! I am still thinking about the brownie with peanut butter sauce. It was SO good. I also had the wild rice soup which was tremendous. The salad dressing was very flavorful as well. I am super picky, and there is not one negative thing I could say about this delightful place. The tea was amazing. I really liked the banana nut bread tea. It really was like dessert in a warm mug without the calories.

The restaurant/tea room itself was fancy but comfortable. We loved the mismatched cups and pots. The interior was bright and tastefully decorated.

Joy was our server and she was so sweet and helpful. We loved her enthusiasm and suggestions. My daughter was celebrating her 21st birthday and Joy made it super festive.

I live four hours away but I am already planning a return trip. Thanks for such a great experience and for making Jaime's birthday so special.
